Description

This free online course will help you understand what's behind a Rioja label. It builds a solid foundation to appreciate the diversity of the region: the different styles of wines, labels, and what some of the more specialised terms mean. You will also learn about the different zones and grape varieties, and the types of wineries that the DOCa Rioja has to offer.

Once you have finished the course, you will be able to choose a Rioja in a restaurant or wine shop with more confidence and you will have a complete vision of the appellation, so that you will be able to better enjoy it and put your knowledge into practice when you come to visit us.

 

Estimated duration: 4 hours.

Evaluation:
At the end of each chapter you will find questions related to the contents that will serve as a review. To continue with the following chapters, you need to answer 100% of the questions correctly and you have unlimited attempts to do so.

At the end of the course, you will have access to the final exam. This consists of 20 questions, which you will have to answer in a maximum time of 20 minutes. To obtain the diploma, you need to answer 60% of the questions correctly, and you will have unlimited attempts to do so.
