Pedro Ballesteros MW
He barely needs introduction. Pedro Ballesteros was Spain´s first MW with the added merit of working outside the wine industry. He lives and works in Brussels, Belgium and enjoys his position at the European Comission as International Relations Officer at the Directorate-General for Energy. He holds an Agronomical Engineer degree and a masters in viticulture and oenology among his qualifications, speaks 4 languages and he is one of the most sought out speakers in the wine industry.
But besides all his accomplishments and numerous titles in different international organizations, he is an outstanding person with tremendous judgement skills. He´s a passionate advocate of Rioja and possibly the best person to talk about sustainability and the role of wine in the future of our region.
Do not miss it!
